Finally I found a post where a guy acaptec, another poster has posted a downloadable. I do not expect much from the above as the adaptor being included this late would entail profound changes to your installation but then again “one never knows Anyway, I got it working, instantly the tape drive was added to device manager, once the Adaptec driver installed successfully.

You are commenting using your Facebook account. I was able to get the modified djsvs driver to install successfully and recognize the scanner. I had a little trouble getting it to work too. Uninstall it from there.
My applogies for not seeing this until now. I had a driver that worked in Windows 7×64 adapte I am now using it in Windows 10 x64, after finding out how to turn-off the Install Warning, because unlike earlier versions, Windows 10 is not a simple click of ignore. I am trying it now, but after a series of totally frustrating mind crushing haa, this is a radical step forward. Best regards Thomas Henden, px Oslo, Norway!

Well, you are the next best thing to the manufacturer. You then install as normal, requesting to select the driver yourself, instead of Windows and you’re done. araptec

Worked like a charm here! I have loaded a really old SCSI drive in to a modern system and all is well.
Instead of typing in the hardware ID, I copied and pasted it into the. I used it and pointed it into my file that I had put into the “Driver Store”: I will try in Legacy mode to see if that makes any difference.
