Installation was straight forward. For some reason probably Windows it seems to default to baud instead of the that most programs seem to like. It’s good to see sellers are valuing customer satisfaction. I couldn’t be happier.

If you’ve never used a USB type GPS before you might be a little intimidated by the setup required to get the unit working with whatever program your using but the manual is pretty clear and the main thing you need to do is go into the Windows Dev ice Manager and set the port settings to whatever your program requires.

The only tricky thing you might find is that there is no really easy way of determining what port number has been assigned to the GPS unit which might make it a little frustrating for non tech-savvy users.

Worth the money Good product. Once the NDS is up and running, there seem to be far fewer dropouts in built-up areas or on cloudy days etc I picked this particular unit because of its technical specifications; it draws power from USB usbb is smaller than the other receivers I own.
